The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  Psalm 27:1

We shouldn’t worry about the direction we are headed because the Lord is the one who directs and guides us by the light of His Word.  Aren’t you glad that God loved us so much that He provided salvation for sinners?  He not only gives life, He also empowers us to live life on earth.  Is He the light of your life, the one who loves you and gives you strength?  If your answer is yes, you have no reason to be afraid.  Martin Luther summed it up best – One with God is a majority.  Whom shall I fear?  When you fear God, you have no one else to fear.
